The aim of the "Investor in Human Capital" certification programme run by the Management Observatory foundation is to select companies implementing top quality human resources management policies.
During an official ceremony held on 26 April 2010 in Warsaw, the certificate was collected on behalf of the company by Małgorzata Kubiak-Rypniewska, HR director at KRUK SA.
The Investor in Human Capital emblem is awarded to companies and institutions which care about the development of their employees and create friendly working environments.
"We are very happy about the award. It proves that the HR management activities we have been performing at KRUK SA for the past couple of years have been going in the right direction. We know how to manage people working at our company and this process starts already at the stage of recruitment where we try to hire people optimally suiting the profile of a given job position," said Małgorzata Kubiak-Rypniewska.
Employees of a debt collection company must have the following competencies very well developed: knowledge in the field of negotiations, psychology, law and first of all the skill to conduct a dialogue with a non-standard interlocutor - a debtor. A couple of years ago there were very few people with suitable knowledge to professionally train and coach the staff of a debt collection company.
"We are aware that people are the most valuable asset of each organisation. It is for them that we prepare training, motivation and incentive programmes. All the above boils down to a simple truth: a happy employee is a good employee," added Kubiak-Rypniewska.
Organisations joining the programme are evaluated in terms of staff development, responsible and transparent HR policy and successes in the building of knowledge-based working environment.
In order for a company to receive the Investor in Human Capital emblem, it must successfully undergo a detailed audit including an analysis of numerical data, employee opinion surveys and evaluation of selected facts.
